It’s less than two weeks until Social Media Week Berlin 2012, September 24-28th! As Social Media Week gets closer and closer, we are as busy as ever organizing, planning and nailing down all the details. This is where you come in. We are looking for a number of volunteers to help out during the biggest free web conference in Berlin. With over 100 events in 3 locations, we need passionate, motivated people who can lend an extra helping hand.
We need technical people who know how to uncross wires and put out fires; we need friendly people who can answer general questions and help people get registered; we need artistic people who can photograph our events; we need tech savvy people who can blog and tweet about our events and livestreams; and last but not least, we need flexible people who can lend a hand wherever needed. We have lots of nice incentives, including a custom Social Media Week 2012 t-shirt, free food and drinks, and letters of recommendation in English or German.
If you think you’re the person for the job, we are holding a volunteer organization meeting at betahaus on Friday, September 14 at 14:00. Here we will assign different positions according to interest and availability, discuss how the events will be organized, and discuss any special event needs. If you are interested in volunteering but can’t make it to this meeting, please contact Amelia Shroyer, this year’s Volunteer Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to meeting you and seeing how you can become a part of the Social Media Week Berlin team!
