Hello, fans of Social Media! Today is a great day for all of you enthusiasts for two reasons:
1) Today is the Mashable-dubbed Social Media Day, which you can celebrate by tweeting, friending, spreading the word, or attending one of 600+ meetups around the world.
2) Not to bury the lede or anything, but secondly, and most importantly, we are excited to announce finally that dates for the next Social Media Week have been set and will take place this coming September 20-24.
This is what you might call a soft launch though, as we’re keeping quiet for the moment on which cities Social Media Week will be taking place. But rest assured that we’ll be visiting some exciting places, including new continents and regions–Latin America!–around the world.
