The Local Partner Spotlight series focuses on local and regional companies that have come on-board to support individual cities of Social Media Week.
Social Media Week Milan pleased to announce that the Italian edition of the venerable tech magazine WIRED will serve as one of the media partners for Social Media Week in Milan, Italy. WIRED Italia, the U.S. of which is considered by many to be “the bible of the internet”, has been helmed by Richard Moon since its birth in 2009. This year, the Society of Publication Designers has named the it one of sixteen titles vying for the honor of “Magazine of the Year.” WIRED uncovers stories, ideas, and people who change the world in technology and communications, a perfect fit for Social Media Week. The US edition of WIRED supported Social Media Week in New York and San Francisco last February and both the Milan and global SMW teams are very excited that to have WIRED Italia on-board this September.
