Social Media Week is pleased to announce that it has added another location to the program of its upcoming February 2011 global conference, the great city of Hong Kong.
Hong Kong will be the first Asian city to take part in Social Media Week and is the eighth city to be added to the February 2011 program, joining New York, San Francisco, Toronto, London, Paris, Rome, and São Paulo. City partners for Social Media Week Hong Kong are impactasia, a local PR agency with offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and Singapore.

Hong Kong is unique to the overall Social Media Week mission in that it leads the organization’s expansion into Asia as well as putting on display one of the most culturally, socially and politically unique cities in the entire world. Due to time zone effects and the end of Chinese New Year, this event will take place on February 8-12 rather than February 7-11 as in the other Social Media Week cities.
