Social Media Week

That’s a Wrap! #SMW11

Wow, what a week! We’re  still trying to catch our collective breaths on this end, but we can safely say that overall this was the biggest and best Social Media Week we’ve ever experienced.

As we continue to tabulate the numbers, collect assets and media and gather feedback from partners and attendees it is already obvious that we’ve exceeded all of our expectations in a big way.

Globally, there were over 25,000 physical attendees across all nine of our cities attending over 600 individual sessions that comprised over 1800 speakers.

Additionally, over 80,000 unique visitors participated online through our livestream channels and more than 180,000 unique visitors came through socialmediaweek.org leading up to and during the conference.

You can find photos from the week here, video here and livestreamed sessions here and make sure to check in with us on facebook and @socialmediaweek for more updates very soon.

Most importantly, we really want to hear from you and get feedback on how you thought it went and how we can improve in the future.  Please take the opportunity to complete our attendee survey, which will also automatically enter you into a chance to win a Nokia N8 phone.

Finally, thanks to our global sponsors and partners, without whom Social Media Week would not be possible.

That’s it for now, more updates and news to follow, including dates and participating cities for our September conference.

This Time Last Week: Tuesday Edition
