Social Media Week Chicago Announces Advisory Board With Google, Groupon, and Others

Social Media Week Chicago city partners Zocalo Group and the Chicago Tribune shared some exciting news today focusing on the announcement of their founding board of advisors.

This illustrious group of business leaders will provide a welcome contribution to the development of SMW Chicago. Coming from such diverse organizations as Google, Dell, Boeing, Unilever, Chicago Magazine, Groupon, Hyatt and the Chicago Mayor’s Office, these advisors cover a wide range of industries and focuses and will help ensure that the SMW Chicago program is top notch.

As members of the Social Media Week Chicago Advisory Board, these individuals will play a pivotal role in shaping the events that take place throughout the week. Advisory Board members will collectively promote Social Media Week Chicago and work with session organizers and sponsors, volunteers, and hosts to plan, manage, and execute a variety of events.
