To celebrate the release of The Dark Knight Rises, our friends at Nokia have some exciting news for fans of Christopher Nolan’s epic Dark Knight trilogy.
Nokia has teamed up with Warner Bros. Pictures to take you deeper into the world of Batman. You can now explore Gotham City in flash 3D, with a few surprises hidden throughout the city for you.
We all have heard about Gotham City. It’s the home to Batman and Commissioner Gordon. It’s crime-filled but hope springs eternal. Fans in the US debate if it really symbolizes Chicago or NYC. Despite all this and it’s hold on our imaginations, we’ve never truly been able to explore it in all its mysterious glory- until now.
Nokia is bringing Gotham City to life and YOU have the chance to not just explore it but also score some exclusive The Dark Knight Rises merchandise!

Once you click on the link above you can start scanning the streets of GothamCity to take in some of its most iconic locations. But a word of warning, you don’t want to miss the Batshields! From now until the end of the month you will have a chance to explore the map in its entirety, but here is a bit of advice: I recommend that you keep coming back because more Batshields will be revealed in the coming weeks.
The Batshields lead to a few hidden surprises, including:
- 8 x Nokia Lumia 900’s with official The Dark Knight Rises poster
- A Gotham City Rogues football jersey and helmet
- A limited edition The Dark Knight Rises cowl
