With so many social tools and platforms available to us all, building an online community can be an attractive idea, however before you get started, have you given thought as to how you will manage this community?

Like most things in social media, having a plan in place is a good place to start. On the day, we’ll cover:

The role of the community manager

Top tips for managing the different voices that exist within your social community

Dealing with the difficult voices – they do exist!

If you think community management is about posting some content and replying to customer service queries, then this is the talk for you!

I promise an engaging, informed and entertaining session and will be open to questions from all… so be nice!

Just as with any Social Media Week event, this is NOT about me selling to you – it’s about an open sharing of knowledge.

I look forward to seeing you on the day!

Your speaker for the day is:

Emma Ramsay, Marketing Manager. With eight years marketing experience both off and online, Emma oversees the affiliate, media, social media, PPC, SEO and analytics teams working closely with each team to deliver strategic planning for all clients such as SSE, AXA PPP healthcare and Malmaison & Hotel du Vin to name but a few.

You can follow Emma on Twitter @EmsGlasgow and @equatoragency

Lovely CitizenM refreshments will be available
