Activating social contests successfully can be easier than you think if you develop them properly.

Start with promotions launched with awareness of the game mechanics that are required to maintain participant engagement and clear KPIs for program assessment. Consider that social contests must fulfill both regulatory requirements and the unique terms of service for each social platform on which the contest is conducted. Furthermore, promotions need to align with and consider consumer behavior in the context of social channels utilized.

This panel will take a look at changing platforms, new challenges and emerging best practices with regard to giveaways, sweeps and contests across Twitter, Facebook and, of course, Pinterest.
