Ben Scheim is vice president at Crowdcentric, responsible for sponsorship, media partnerships, and communications. Previously he was manager of the Paley Center for Media’s International Council conferences, a private biannual CEO-level meeting of global media heads. Ben loves music, biking, and technology, and strives to live within a happy cross-section of seriousness and laughter.

Zach Smith is Chief Financial Officer and Chief Revenue Officer of Crowdcentric. Prior to Crowdcentric, he advised companies and investors for 10 years in Derivatives, Corporate Finance and M&A at Citi and Merrill Lynch. Rumors of Zach’s love for Tex-Mex and photography have been greatly under-exaggerated.

Prior to joining SMW, Giorgia worked for Personal Democracy Media, an organization that helps nurture a world-wide conversation about technology’s impact on government, politics, and society. Before coming to NYC she worked in fashion, healthcare and for the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and moved between Milan, Paris, Madrid. She spends an inordinate time reading about technology, culture and food. Now a beta New Yorker, she calls Williamsburg home where she very much enjoys wandering about the Sunday morning flea markets in skinny American jeans, Italian leather boots and typically a huge coffee.
Programming & Production Manager, Social Media Week New York
Ryan Thompson spent 4 years in Los Angeles working in Media Management and Film & TV production before teaming up with Crowdcentric. He has worked closely with several media companies including Dick Clark Productions, Funny or Die and Tubefilter. He also played an active role in the programming and production of SMWLA 2012. An Oklahoma native and a bit of a thrill seeker, he enjoys the outdoors, taking the road less traveled and cooking.
