Social media is here to stay – though the book on how to incorporate it into a public company’s financial and investor communications efforts is still being written.

Companies need to ask themselves if they want to seize the opportunity to expand their reach to target audiences or be left behind. Of the Fortune 100 companies, 82% use Twitter, 68% are on YouTube and 59% incorporate Facebook into corporate communications programs. Public companies are beginning to realize the power of social media for investor communications, and now is the time to determine if they should incorporate these new channels into their financial communications or wait until it is not only demanded by investors, but regulated and required by the SEC.

This workshop will teach you how to use social media as a highly impactful investor relations tool. Learn the best practices and strategies for using LinkedIn, Twitter, SlideShare, YouTube, Blogs and Facebook. Discover new ways to leverage social media as an opportunity to share more information with investors, add color and dimension to a publicly traded company’s story and ultimately achieve the highest possible valuation.
