An international group of writers led by Jill Golick in Toronto are writing a live comedy for SMW told entirely through the medium of social networking. The action starts at 6pm Monday 1st February (GMT) and continues throughout the week.New comedy series, CRUSHING IT: An Internet Love Story, uses social media on air and behind the scenes for a new way of telling stories.
CRUSHING IT gives audiences a unique chance to participate with their favourite characters when it unfolds in real time, which is possible because behind every character is a living writer-performer who is interacting with the audience as well as the other scripted characters. Writers and characters are based in three of the six SMW cities, London, Toronto and New York.
