Attendee Options
At Social Media Week, we love frictionless participation. The vast majority of our events are free and open for anyone to attend. However, they do require you to individually register to events, and each event has a limited amount of seats available. For Official Hub events (at io/LA and the Egyptian Theatre), if you want to avoid registering to each individual Hub event or want to attend Hub events that are already closed to registration, you now have the option to buy a SMW Premium Pass.
PASS SALES HAVE ENDED. Passes will NOT be available for purchase on-site.
| Event Access. Register for each event individually, subject to availability. Visit the SMWLA schedule for more info. | Maximum Access. Access to all events in both Content Hubs all week, plus our Closing Party. | |
| Tons of Events. SMWLA offers over 90% of the official events featured on our schedule for FREE. But be sure to register early. We anticipate events filling quickly. | No Registration Needed. Simply show up to either of our Content Hubs (io/LA and Egyptian Theatre) with your pass, even if registration for an event is closed. | |
| Special Screenings. You’re on the list for our Closing Party, as well as special screenings of Craigslist Joe and Unruly’s Social Video Film Festival. | ||

*Note that the Premium Pass only provides entry to Official Hub events; they do not guarantee seating. We recommend you arrive early to Hub events for your best choice of seating.
Passes will be available for pickup from 8AM to 5PM, Monday, September 24th through Friday, September 28th at the SMWLA check-in desk at io/LA (7083 Hollywood Blvd. Hollywood, CA 90028 – MAP).
