The Caucus for Producers, Writers & Directors (The Caucus) is the television industry’s only coalition of the creative talents that bear primary responsibility for the origination of television programs.

Founded in 1974, The Caucus protects and actively promotes the artistic, intellectual, and economic rights of producers, writers and directors and provides a forum for the best and brightest creative talent in Hollywood to network together as the “creative conscience” of the television industry. The Caucus also supports new producers, writers and directors through The Caucus Foundation Student Grants.

The Hollywood Entertainment District is a ten-year property-based Business Improvement District (BID), comprised of 200 property owners who are assessed $3.4 million annually to pay for security, maintenance services and marketing to promote the revitalization of the area. Major landmarks in the District include Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, Hollywood & Highland, the Pantages Theatre, the El Capitan, the W Hotel, the Roosevelt Hotel, and Capitol Records.

Founded in 1998, Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition (LACBC) works to build a better, more bike-able Los Angeles County. LACBC is the only nonprofit, membership-based organization working exclusively for the millions of bicyclists in Los Angeles County. Based in Santa Monica, Calif., ParkMe is the leading provider of parking information to navigation companies and smartphones. Founded by Sam Friedman and Alex Israel, ParkMe’s mission is to make parking easier. ParkMe has built the world’s most comprehensive parking database, including more than 25,000 worldwide locations in more than 500 cities, 19 countries and three continents.

ParkMe’s free app, ParkMe, helps drivers find real-time parking availability in the form of “heat maps,” letting users see the most likely availability for parking on a block-by-block basis. Additional features on the app include a rate calculator, “in-app” route guidance and a timer. ParkMe also offers a widget for businesses to add to their website. The widget allows a business to show consumers real-time parking availability information near its location.

Bike Nation operates a system of bike-sharing kiosks which will provide systems to the City of Anaheim, the City of Long Beach, and the City of Los Angeles. A bicycle share system is a self-­service kiosk rental system where individuals can rent and return a public bicycle anywhere within a network of stations. The project is a private venture with no public funds, providing SoCal residents with a quick, easy, and sustainable way to get around their beautiful city.
