[UPDATED: Friday, January 29th]

We have setup a carpool matchmaking service for the Social Media Camp being held on Monday, February 1st. Do you need help getting to/from Social Media Camp, or do you want to offer your NASCAR driving skills? Please join the Social Media Club Rideshare Program at https://www.carpoolworld.com/socialmediacamp.html.

Are you attending Social Media Camp on Monday, February 1st, or do you want to attend but do not have a ride to get there? If so, please contribute to this post by adding a comment and let us and everyone else know if you can offer a ride or if you need a ride. Please include your contact information, as well. You may even make a new friend or two from this just like Steve Martin and John Candy in Planes, Trains and Automobiles!

Social Media Camp | February 1st | Tickets Available NOW!

Social Media Week’s first main event, Social Media Camp, has been announced, and tickets are now on sale!

The part conference / part BarCamp-style event is being held at Presidio’s Officer’s Club on Monday, February 1st, from 9:00am-5:30pm. Some of the topics being discussed and spoken about include Social Media and Metrics, Local Search, and Community Management. In addition, those in attendance will have an opportunity to host a conversation about a topic that matters to you and which you would like to share with others.

Overall, Social Media Camp is a great opportunity for professionals in various fields and positions (marketing, startup, journalists, bloggers, executives) to both learn and speak about how Social Media can be applied to your business and/or workplace.

Hey, San Francisco: Registration’s Now OPEN!

San Francisco’s Social Media Week conference is now live, so start registering for the week’s events, panels, and mixers. We are still adding new things to the schedule on a daily basis, so please check often for something that may have been added (or something that has been edited!).

You may RSVP at http://smw-sanfrancisco.sched.org.

To register for events, simply visit the San Francisco website, select Schedule from the top navigation and RSVP for the events you wish to attend. We will be adding more events over the next couple of days, so please check back often for both edits and updates.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST RSVP FOR EVENTS INDIVIDUALLY.  REGISTERING THROUGH *SCHED.ORG DOES NOT ADMIT ENTRY.*

Want to participate in Social Media Week beyond simply attending? There’s still time.  You can still register your own event, register to speak, or even volunteer if you would like to help out during the actual week itself.  To do so, please contact both Chris Heuer and Brett Petersel, and/or you may obtain the Social Media Week sponsorship information sheet at http://drop.io/smwsfinfo.
