If Digitas’ offices seemed somewhat empty last Thursday, it wasn’t because its staffers were slacking off.
Nearly 400 employees of the agency, about one-half of the Boston headquarters staff, donated their time to seven local organizations in the Boston area for the 10th annual “Digitas Volunteer Day.”
For the city’s Franklin Park Zoo, an agency team helped staff harvest a garden, paint buildings and fences, and perform other maintenance activities.
