The purpose of international exchanges and programming is to build the knowledge, skills, and capacity to address critical global issues in the lives of the participants. Yet it is very common that alumni of international exchange programs become silo-ed in their communities after they return home.
However, through new digital opportunities, a few organizations are exemplifying innovative ways to re-engage and leverage alumni. This event seeks to highlight these creative ideas and strategies.
HOW
The first session will be a panel moderated by World Learning and will feature three speakers who will highlight their organization’s strategies.
For the second session, the US Department of State’s Alumni Engagement team will showcase their brand new network for alumni of programs sponsored by the US Department of State and share strategies and challenges associated with its development.
Attendees are welcome to attend one or both of the sessions, and of course the coffee and snack break!
