Lauren deLisa Coleman, is a socio-economic digitalist and is one of the first to track social change as it converges with popular culture and technology & analyze its impact on business and governance. She is also the author of the eBook, Rise of the SmartPower Class: navigating the new digital, leaderful era.
Smart Power Class was chosen as one of the selections on Amazon’s “Best: New Media Studies” list.
Pete Moran, is the CEO for General Sentiment, a leader in measuring online sentiment across news, blogs, Twitter and other online media. General Sentiment scours and analyzes more than 30 million sources of content, ‘listening’ in real time to the opinions expressed regarding brands, products, politicians, celebrities, companies and more.
In addition to running General Sentiment, Pete Moran has extensive experience in large and small media and technology companies spanning a 30-year career and has exhibited successful leadership in advertising sales for three cable MSOs, a cable network and a variety of advanced advertising, direct marketing and Internet-based businesses.
Dr. Tia Tyree, is an Associate Professor/Interim Chair at Howard University, where she teaches several graduate and undergraduate public relations courses. Prior to working at the University, she served as the Public Relations Manager for the D.C. Housing Finance Agency, Public Information Officer for the D.C. Department of Housing and Community Development and Public Relations Consultant for Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Inc.
Dr. Tyree has also worked as a reporter for the publications The Sun in Baltimore, Maryland; Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida and States News Service in Washington, D.C.
An expert on communications, she focuses on the convergence of technology, popular culture and African-American and female representations in the media.
