This year, like in previous years, we are very lucky to have a team with a wide range of backgrounds and from a variety of organizations.  In the forthcoming weeks, we will introduce our individual board members for #SMWBerlin 2013 – powered by Nokia. Our advisory board is the “ideas committee”: They shape the theme, select topics, suggest speakers, and curate events during Social Media Week. In short: it could not happen without them. Together, we are striving to create an event that investigates how social media is changing our daily lives, all while following through with our goal to create a gender balanced event, organizing team, and Advisory Board.

The members of the board bring with them skills in the areas of culture, communications, activism, entertainment, politics, business and campaigning. Using our diverse skill sets we hope that #SMWBerlin – powered by Nokia will be an intriguing, fascinating and innovative event for you to participate in from September 23-27th. We all hope to see you there!
