Alex Oberberg is currently Head of Markets Engagement, Global Social Media & Digital at Nokia. Over the past 13 years Alex has been developing an exceptional understanding of Marketing (7+ years in digital) and how to successfully apply it to maximum effect for business – helping SMEs and large corporations becoming more digitally focused with a strong performance-driven approach, resulting in an increased ROI. Alex enjoys pushing boundaries, challenging teams & the industry, to ‘simply’ get things done. Throughout his career Alex has been working in international roles on both, agency and client side, leading cross-functional teams virtually & globally. Alex has lived and worked in Germany, Finland, UK and Indonesia.
Prior to his current position, Alex worked for two years within Nokia’s European Marketing team looking after digital marketing activities across various digital touch-points such as CRM, Mobile and Social. During this time he planned & executed Austria’s first-ever social location campaign, driving footfall to retail partners, resulting in double-digit (%) sales uplift and wide national media coverage.
An enthusiast for anything marketing, especially digital & social, Alex enjoys speaking at industry events to share, learn & connect with like-minded.
