Social Media Week Los Angeles Reveals 2015 #Social25 Honorees

Kicking off Social Media Week Los Angeles (SMWLA), a four-day event exploring the social, cultural, and economic impacts of social media, Tubefilter and What’s Trending released their 4th annual #Social25 honoree list, recognizing outstanding influencers and organizations in digital media. The 2015 honorees include: Mark Cuban’s Cyberdust, Sofía Vergara, Amy Schumer, Bethany Mota, Buzzfeed Motion Pictures’ Ze Frank, Whisper, Laurel & Wolfe, and Fuck Cancer.

This yearly list of influencers is curated by Drew Baldwin, CEO of Tubefilter, and Shira Lazar, CEO and Co-Founder of the Emmy-nominated show, What’s Trending, and approved by the Social Media Week Los Angeles Board of Advisors.

Honorees will attend an exclusive event during SMWLA’s opening night, June 8th, at the 41Ocean Club in Santa Monica, CA. This VIP event, hosted by Tubefilter and What’s Trending, and sponsored by Famebit, will honor and celebrate the 25 honorees and will bring together LA’s most influential individuals in media, business, technology, and non-profit organizations.

SMWLA, a staple event in the social media and digital community, will provide a week of programming including keynote speakers, panels, presentations, demos, workshops, talks, conversations, and networking parties. The programming focuses on digital media, technology, advertising and marketing, fashion and beauty, innovation and the future, movies and TV, collaboration and gaming, startups and entrepreneurship, and food and culture.
