Social Media Week

We’re excited to announce the 2016 recipients for our “Startups to Watch” list! The 10 companies will join us in New York for Social Media Week to celebrate their work, and present the roadmaps for how they’ll continue to change the world.

44 days until 20,000+ global leaders come together for SMW September 12-16. Learn more here.

Each year, we join forces with a local, New York organization to curate our “Startups to Watch” list in conjunction with February’s annual Social Media Week New York event. This year, we’re proud to partner with Digital.NYC, an online hub for New York’s technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Our “Startups to Watch” (StW) list represents early-stage companies and ideas around the globe, and manifests in New York with a special in-person showcase. The goal of StW is to identify and celebrate exceptional, entrepreneurial talent within early stage innovation.

These companies and organizations tie into our global theme, which incorporates four chief elements: smart devices, networked connectivity, data, and machine learning.

We hope you’ll register your pass to join us in New York for the 2016 Startups to Watch showcase, which takes place Thursday, February 25th at 4:00pm at the SVA Theatre. Toby Daniels (Founder & Executive Director, Social Media Week) and Tim Devane (Principal, NextView Ventures) will moderate and host the event.
