Thanks to virtual reality, the desktop computer market is experiencing a notable resurgence (via Recode).

PC brands like Dell and Alienware (which Dell owns) are currently developing new lines of PCs devoted solely to virtual reality. Dell told Recode that it plans to release a high-power expandable XPS desktop targeting VR applications towards the end of 2016.
