Shortly after Twitter introduced searchable #Stickers on photos, Snapchat rolled out a new sticker-focused feature that makes use of their core advantage: location.

Their latest geo-feature is “Geostickers” also known as “special stickers currently available in 10 cities that users can send in Chat or on Snaps.”

These stickers are relevant to your location. So if you’re in New York, you can use Central Park or yellow cab stickers, or even The Big Apple’s little, grimy hero… pizza rat!

If you’re a Snapchat user in Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington DC, Honolulu, London, Sydney, São Paulo, Paris, or Riyadh, and have your location services enabled, you’ll be able to see stickers all related to the city you’re in.

Back in April, Snapchat spent $100 million to acquire Bitmoji, a personalized sticker app that puts the user into the stickers themselves, along with an impressive range of situations, phrases, memes, and cultural phenomena to share with friends.
