“You can never over-deliver in the level and value of content,” Miller said. “People ask me what content mistakes I’ve made,” Miller said, “and I tell them none. Not because I have a big ego, but because we only create content that has a valuable use.”

“Repurpose content the way you would a leftover turkey,” Miller calls this the “Turkey Method”. In the days after Thanksgiving, people are often left with a ton of leftover turkey. What do they do? They repurpose it into sandwiches, soups, etc.

Miller says it’s important to realize you can do that with content. Using data, Miller and his team repurpose content to fit Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and video. Then, they repurpose that for specific audiences on different platforms. This also requires creating “evergreen” content.

Exploring new formats. LinkedIn works to try new things — one such thing was creating the first B2B audiobook. By exploring new formats, LinkedIn finds imaginative and successful ways to reach new audiences.
