AI is changing everything through machine learning, data understanding, and bots, and if used correctly, this technology can also help marketers grow audiences in a personal way, to the point where every interaction and engagement is clearly defined, and perhaps even predicted.

To learn about AI in a marketing context, it’s important to have a foundational understanding of certain terms. The three terms Vince defines are:

  1. Image recognition = teach machines to understand what’s happening in an image
  2. Natural language processing = understanding what a word means based on data of the word
  3. Bots = a way to communicate with your audience in an automated fashion
