SMW Chicago Kicks Off With Rahm Emanuel and Howard Tullman
Social Media Week is a leading news platform and worldwide conference that curates and shares the best ideas and insights into social media and technology's impact on business, society, and culture.
The week started off with a bang at Morningstar with Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Howard Tullman of 1871.
The two spoke to a full room about how the city and tech industry are working together to attract entrepreneurs and creative minds to Chicago. Tribune business columnist, Melissa Harris, moderated the session.
We’re celebrating the week with a kickoff party at Rockit Bar & Grill this evening, so stayed tuned for pics! For live updates from the various SMW happenings, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.
