Managing Director, Bandwidth Marketing Group
Rob Albertson started Bandwidth Marketing Group over a decade ago after jumping out of leadership positions at big global agencies. He moved from VP Creative at Y&R/Wunderman running integrated marketing for the likes of Taco Bell and Ford/Mercury, to SVP/Executive Creative Director at Frankel/Publicis, where he co-led a business unit, housing United Airlines, AT&T, Frito-Lay, Tropicana, and Motorola, to name too many. He led all creative output on these and more.
In ‘04, he resigned to create the boutique creative shop, Bandwidth, seeing an opportunity to be more flexible, and bring big brand experience to nimble entrepreneurs that could move quickly and efficiently. His other goal? Do more with less. Stay small, but be powerful.
And it’s worked. His clients have included Gore-Tex, GrubHub, Allstate, O-Cedar, Tribune, TicketsNow, and a cluster of aggressive startups in industries from tech to health care to CPG and more.
So as a result of his comprehensive experience and talents, Rob has great insights on brand AND sales – and how to have the most impact, at any level, by tightly defining the 4 B’s: brand, buyer, budget, and business challenge to get to killer creative.
In addition to his day job, Rob’s taught copywriting at Columbia College, and does guest lecturing at Northwestern, DePaul, and North Park College.
He speaks qual and quant, corporate and startup, big and small.
