James Sadri

Social Media Week

Social Media Week is a leading news platform and worldwide conference that curates and shares the best ideas and insights into social media and technology's impact on business, society, and culture.

James leads the Greenpeace team responsible for using digital to engage people in its campaigns. Recent social successes include #iceclimb, where activists live-streamed the scaling of London’s tallest building the Shard to draw attention to Shell’s Arctic drilling. James previously led the digital side of Greenpeace’s Save The Arctic and VW Dark Side campaigns. Before joining Greenpeace, he worked for the BBC, UN and various grassroots groups. James is obsessed with using technology to make the world a better place, but is deeply cynical of ideas that don’t challenge theĀ centresĀ of power.
