After serving an honorable 8 years as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy, Petty Officer Wayne Barrow, a Brooklyn

Born thorough bred recognized life had more to offer and began a new career in the Music Business by securing a deal with EMI

Publishing for the lead Rapper/Writer/Producer, Aqil of the Rap Group, Wreckx-N-Effect. This move opened the door to Artist

Management for Barrow and the success of his first client, Wreckx-N-Effect proved he was destined and poised as a force in

Entertainment to be reckoned with.

Teaming up with his cousin Mark Pitts, Barrow grounded previous with experience and knowledge, handled the day to day business

operations of Mark Pitts Management, and the two collectively managed clients, Changing Faces; Faith Evans; Shyne; Queen

Pen; LooN; NAS and the late great Notorious B.I.G.“There was no rule book or guideline that anyone gave me when I

started out in Entertainment”, states Barrow. “I learned through trial and error, hard work, dedication and faith in The Lord, that all is

possible”.

In 1998, Barrow became the President of Bystorm Entertainment, a record label formed with his partner, Mark Pitts, where they

signed up & coming Artists. Rapper, Tracey Lee was their first successful Artists on their Universal Records joint venture label,

selling over 500,000 units of his debut album, “Many Faces”, embodying his smash hits, “Party Time” and “Keep Your Hands

High” featuring Notorious B.I.G. ByStorm Entertainment had earned respect, not just as a Management Company, but a record

label as well. Barrow and Pitts proved they had staying power and have successfully held their company together for over 20 years, by

staying true to their ByStorm motto, “We’re not changing direction, We’re directing the change”. Currently ByStorm

Entertainment has a joint venture deal with RCA Records, helmed by Peter Edge and Tom Corson where they have had great success

in breaking their label -Grammy Award winning artist, Miguel, Grammy nominated artist, Mali-Music and the RocNation

Grammy Nominated Hip-Hop artist, ByStorm Management client J.Cole.

Further developing his business profile, Barrow is President of Bystorm Films and currently serves as Producer of The Notorious

BIG’s biopic, NOTORIOUS, which was released through Fox /Searchlight, January 16, 2009. NOTORIOUS earned an

unprecedented 25 Million Dollars in its opening weekend, the biggest weekend release for Fox/Searchlight in its history with

100MM earned to date. He also serves as Producer of the feature film, “Blue”, which has won the esteemed, Best Film

Award at the Hollywood Black Film Festival and The Audience Choice Award, at the American Black Film Festival..

Responsible for over 180 Million Records sold worldwide, Barrow is the President of ByStorm Entertainment; ByStorm Films

Inc, ByStorm Technology Inc, SillyHumans Clothing; Brooklyn Mint Clothing, Guccizm Music/6 Kolbert Drive Publishing;

Managing Partner for Notorious Ventures LLC and Barrow also serves as Vice Chairman of The Christopher Wallace Memorial
