Brant McLean is Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy for BuzzFeed in the UK and Europe. Brant is responsible for BuzzFeed’s advertising revenue, client services, creative and advertising operations in the UK, France, Germany, Spain and across the continent. Under his leadership, BuzzFeed UK’s business operation has doubled in size, opened new video production facilities and added several branded franchises. Before transferring to London in early 2016, Brant led BuzzFeed’s sales team stateside and oversaw major revenue growth across markets including Atlanta, Chicago and Detroit.

Prior to joining BuzzFeed he spent 10 years at Tumblr and Yahoo!, securing pivotal partnerships and growing global revenue with Fortune 50 brands. For more than 15 years, Brant’s deep understanding of content creation, data, distribution and impact measurement has led to success for global brands and agencies, empowering them to create truly compelling brand stories across media formats and platforms. Brant hails from Atlanta and is based in London, UK.
