Joel Beckett is the founder and CEO of The Outloud Group, a Detroit-based Influencer Marketing Agency. Prior to launching the company in 2007, Joel worked in the Detroit Public Schools as an English teacher. His zeal for personal betterment, education, and access to knowledge prompted him to found The Outloud Group – originally producing quality content around philosophy, politics, and economics. While he was early in the podcast space, he found an enormous opportunity working with brands to meaningfully engage influencers to advocate for their brand.
