Alternative #SMWLagos 2015 Event Venues

Social Media Week

Social Media Week is a leading news platform and worldwide conference that curates and shares the best ideas and insights into social media and technology's impact on business, society, and culture.

The #SMWLagos 2015 schedule is live! We’re coming down to the wire and we have received so many incredible submissions that we no longer have space in the Landmark Centre!

What does that mean for you?

You cans till hold an event offsite in one of the many awesome venues around Lagos!

Here’s a list of some of great spaces people have used in the past.

The deadline to secure an off campus venue is February 1.

Below is a list of venues others have used in the past:
The HotHouse which is situated on Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos will offer entrepreneurs affordable and professional workspace on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, with meeting rooms, office equipment, business support services, a cafe and a host of training, events and other programming. At the HotHouse, entrepreneurs will become part of a vibrant community of forward-thinking, dynamic creative entrepreneurs.
In year’s past we have held events at Terra Kulture with much success.
Terra Kulture, a cultural hub located on Victoria Island, was established in 2004 to promote the richness and diversity of Nigeria’s culture. The hub “serves as the recreational and cultural hub of the neighborhood, as it attracts a diverse crowd from near and afar who come to experience the wide range of unique services that it has to offer.”
This thriving concept space works with Lagos creatives offering 80 square feet for workshops, exhibitions, installations and the like. The outfit’s goal is ensuring that a platform exists for Africa’s new wave of young creative thinkers.
Do you have suggestions? Drop them in the comments section below!

Remember it is up to you to make all arrangements with the staff at those venues to ensure your event runs smoothly.
