Social Media Week

Our Story – Connecting & Teaching Nigerian History with Social Media aims to reinvent the traditional ways that people learn about the past by exploring print, visual, and multimedia materials that examine the diverse social and cultural histories of our nation.  Social media is enabling people to learn about and teach Nigerian history through personal pictures & sharing stories & experiences.

Panelist  will discuss their experiences of using Social Media to research and learn about Nigerian history; as well as pinpoint their personal top 5  most powerful & profound historical images discovered via social media. We will also explore future opportunities and trends.
