With just 6 weeks to go until this September’s Social Media Week (24th – 28th) we’re very happy to announce that Mobile Monday London are joining us as media partners.
In their own words, “Mobile Monday London is the community for people involved in building and deploying mobile products, services and experiences. We have put on over 80 free events since November 2005 and through our online presence, we’ve helped Mobile Monday members track topical trends and meet the right people. We provide a forum within which funding, mergers & acquisitions and fruitful partnerships take place.”
Mobile Monday London have recently announced their new venture, The Mobile Academy, set up in conjunction with UCL Advances to provide practical learning programmes to help participants develop their mobile innovation skills across design, technology and business. At the heart of the course is idea of bring together different communities to help support the growth of mobile enabled businesses in London. Communities that can help create and resource new businesses, communities that can help shape and inform go-to-market strategies and anticipate the implications for market penetration, and communities that can help enable development and delivery of great new products, services and experiences.
Starting on 18th September ’12, The Mobile Academy will host a 12 week evening programme for people who want to build successful mobile products and channels. Offered at the heavily subsidised price of £317, the programme gives 36 hours worth of Tuesday & Thursday evening sessions on the Technical, Business and Design elements of creative successful mobile products, services and experiences.The sessions are led by industry professionals so it promises to be very practical and full of insider examples.
