If you thought you missed the deadline for submitting an event to be part of SMW, we have good news for you! Due to the huge number of global requests, we have extended event submissions until the 5th of September.
Thinking of hosting an event?
There’s still time for you to start from the beginning! Check out some of the steps below that will help you in planning and executing your SMW event:
- Choose your topic
- Choose between endless event formats (workshop, panel, presentation, cocktail…etc.)
- Select your speakers
- Brief your speakers
- Secure a venue for your event
- Register your event (you can find more about how to register below)
- Create a Twitter Hashtag for your event
- Think of ways to promote your event
- Produce your event
- Stream your event

Get as creative as you want, and when you are ready, head to over to the Event Submission Page, create an account and submit your event! Once your event’s been submitted, the SMWLDN Team will contact you.
Attendee Registration Opens in Few Days
Attendee registration for all SMWLDN events opens on the 28th of August; in the meantime, you can take a look at the events schedule and, if you’re signed in, add the ones you are interested in to your favourites.
