Building on SMW London’s theme of ‘open and connected’ this workshop will focus on bringing people and platforms together to do good.
Social media has torn down the borders between countries but hasn’t yet torn down the silos between charities, brands and the digital industry. By bringing a mix of attendees together – this workshop will allow us to create sparks of innovation so we can find the next big thing/s for fundraising, campaigning and generally doing good in social media.
The session will be an informally structured workshop where all attendees contribute. This is to allow maximum time for conversations, idea creation, sharing and learning.
Facilitated by experts from across the non-profit and digital industries the session will expose examples of what has worked, what hasn’t and what new platforms are available.
Facilitators so far:
Laila Takeh @spirals – UNICEF UK
Adrian Cockle – WWF
Amanda Neylon – Macmillan Cancer Support
Mark Weber – Save the Children
Jamies Parkins – Justgiving
Crispin Read – White Fuse Media
