The main themes we wish to discuss within the event include:

– How Social-Mobile-Local (SoMoLo) platforms are reinventing digital and commercial marketing. We aim to explore how proximity together with geo-location technology will play a part in enhancing the urban actor network effect.

– Global smartphone penetration – With over 50% of the World’s population living in cities, we discuss how such phenomena transcend scale as local becomes global.

– Exploring the ways that social media platforms have cultivated new spaces where people can engage in diversity through the exchange of skills and passions

– The importance of adaptation and continuous learning in order to keep up with trends, competition and new innovations and how activities/experience platforms can help

Target Audience: We aim to attract a mix between event hosts and organisers who can benefit from learning more about crowdsourcing in the events space. In addition, anyone interested in the concept of crowdsourcing and SoMoLo platforms will benefit from the market trends and analysis we will present.

Main take away: Crowdsourcing can greatly increase the quantity and diversity of events & activities offered on events platforms and generate revenues for third party/individual providers.
