Wembley Cup is a multi-influencer format that reaches a combined 20m subscribers across the group. But that’s just the start.
Branded entertainment, multi-influencer formats do much more than just hit large-scale numbers, when they work, they switch the opinion, preferences and allegiances of whole demographics.
So how do you turn all this reach into a deeper, lasting emotional connection? How do you manage the invisible forces of ego and emotion to create an awesome show that really moves its audience and ultimately moves products off the shelves?
Wembley Cup is a format that has been developed to attract and engage the UK’s young male demographic, a very valuable group for Client EE but notoriously hard to reach through traditional marketing activity and standard channel distribution.
In this talk, Nicolas Roope, Creative Partner and Co-founder at POKE will share the story behind the success of Wembley Cup, sharing insights into how the design and management of the format has contributed to the formation of an engagement juggernaut.
