This Summer The National Gallery launched public wifi and allowed photography in the Gallery for the first time. This has added a new dimension to how people view and enjoy the collection in a way that wasn’t possible before. Nicholas Penny (Director, National Gallery) observes the way in which we experience art is changing with the evolution of new devices and how this is driving engagement with a wider audience.
