We’re nearing the end of an era of social media. That era when people used platforms like Facebook and Twitter for hours a day, sharing their lives. That era in which brands could step in and reach those people quite easily with a message or piece of content. That’s over.
This talk by Will Francis, a director at London digital agency Harkable, will look at why the landscape has changed so dramatically and how brands must work differently to build and engage audiences through social technology, collaboration and co-creation. The talk will look at campaigns by Harkable and others that demonstrate the power of participatory content, immersive digital experiences and collaboration with the audience to create loyal and influential advocates. Attendees will have the chance to take part in a Q&A, network afterwards and go away full of ideas and inspiration.
