Twitter Cards – or ‘Expandable Tweets’ – have been part of the Twitter ecosystem since 2012. You may not know them by that name, but if you’ve ever used Twitter then you have almost definitely engaged with a Twitter card. What started out as a simple way to preview website content in-stream, Twitter Cards have grown to encompass everything from images, to videos, to product information, and even email capture – all with the aim of giving Twitter’s users the best and richest possible experience (and of course helping brands out along the way). This session will quickly cover off what Twitter Cards are, before diving into various the case studies and best practices behind the multiple variants of card available. Attendees should expect to walk away with new ideas and examples of how to get the most out of their Twitter usage.
