Social Media Week is a leading news platform and worldwide conference that curates and shares the best ideas and insights into social media and technology's impact on business, society, and culture.
Social Media Week LA would not be possible without your collaboration and participation. As a part of the SMWLA community, organizations and individuals of any size or stature are invited to submit an event and join the global conversation exploring the cultural, societal and economic impact of social media.
Under the global 2012 theme of “Empowering Change through Collaboration,” this year’s Social Media Week LA will be planting roots in Hollywood and exploring the intersection of social technology and entertainment through a week of panels, presentations, demos, workshops, talks, conversations, and of course, parties!
This year, to help you identify and connect with the right audience for your event, we are offering three tracks of programming for attendees, beginner, intermediate and advanced. So, don’t be afraid to think out of the box and be bold with your event ideas. Whether from media & entertainment, technology & innovation, marketing & advertising, art & culture or social & environmental change, we are looking for a variety of submissions that delve into different interest areas and professional disciplines, but most importantly, provide high quality learning and networking experiences for attendees.
The event submission process begins today, Tuesday, June 5th, and runs until Tuesday, August 21st. Please allow at least two weeks for review of your submission and we will be in touch!
