Today, even the biggest video games are using social media to engage current and potential players. In an already interactive medium, do players demand more interactivity via social channels? This panel explores best practices in building a community around a game property, including which channels are best, be it twitter, Facebook, or forums. Do AAA game developers have it easy, or are indies better positioned to build their brands with an authentic voice? Join the Los Angeles Chapter of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) for a discussion on how to implement the best social media strategy for your game.
