As a Senior Brand Manager at Dole Packaged Foods, Vanessa has been responsible for setting and executing the overall consumer strategy for all of Dole Packaged Foods’ Hispanic initiatives in the United States, including social media, digital, and experiential. She has played an instrumental role in championing and spearheading the development of Dole’s first ever Hispanic consumer communication campaign targeted at generating both affinity and consumer demand amongst Hispanics. She chartered a dynamic three-year strategic roadmap designed to leverage social media to grow awareness of the brand, shift brand sentiment, build a robust, highly engaged community, drive engagement and generate sales via test and scale platforms. Her deep knowledge of and passion for the Hispanic community has enabled her to work with Orcí in orchestrating a steady stream of relevant and insightful content that has been instrumental in building an organic highly engaged social media community.
