Cyber-NY Interactive is hosting an independent film panel discussion that will include indie filmmakers and distributors from Zeitgeist Films, Kino Lorber Films, Merchant Ivory Productions and Film Movement as well as our creative director Vincent Keane. Our panel will be moderated by writer & editor, Maccabee Montandon (FastCompany, New York Times, New York Magazine).
The discussion will be centered around the role social media plays in promoting and engaging audiences and how this presents new challenges and opportunities for independent filmmakers and distributors. As part of the event, we will be screening trailers before and after the panel discussion as well as having some film promo giveaways from our panelists and sponsors. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn from industry professionals in independent film distribution, promotion and online media.
Your also invited to attend the opening of our group photography exhibition entitled “Hello, My Friend is _______” featuring photographs by Debbie Rasiel, Matt Carr, Vincent Keane, Benton Collins, Julian Hibbard and Ian Baguskas. Beer and wine will be served for the exhibition and panel. Space is limited.
