Amy Avery

Chief Intelligence Officer, Droga5

Amy Avery is one of those people who has to find a reason for everything. Where other people see a website, Amy sees heat maps, click paths and conversions. Most people open their mailbox to get the mail; Amy goes to hers to confirm that her segmentation hasn’t changed.

So it’s a good thing that Amy spends her days looking for answers in consumers’ behaviors. As Chief Analytics Officer, Amy’s team uses data to understand behavior, make decisions and stretch every dollar spent. There is a common thread in her experience—she likes to build teams. Amy came to Droga5 from J. Walter Thompson, where she built a full-service analytics capability from business planning through optimization and ROI measurement. Prior to that, she was at BBDO/Proximity, where she was Head of Data and Analytics, building the digital analytics capability from the ground up. She has worked across nearly every vertical and brands, such as AT&T, Starbucks, Johnson & Johnson, HSBC and more.

Having solid grounding in direct, CRM and digital work, she has also worked as an Account Director, leading teams that handle website development, online media, direct mail, database management and measurement and analytics programs.

Away from her work and her numerous spreadsheets, Amy lives in NYC with her two children. Unsurprisingly, they have a tendency to ask why a lot.

Tricia Clarke-Stone

CEO, WP Narrative_

Brooklyn-born Tricia Clarke-Stone is a twin who loves her sister but refuses to repeat in anything else. A boundary-pusher with a uniquely attuned business mind, Tricia brings her decades-long experience at the intersection of marketing, branding, tech, media and entertainment to the helm of newly minted content innovation studio, WP Narrative_ where she currently sits as CEO.

Before joining forces with the eponymous Hollywood hitmaker to create what is the branded content arm of Will Packer Media, Tricia’s tenure as cofounder and CEO of Narrative_ leaned into her cultural savvy, obsession with emerging tech, and ingenuity in storytelling as a way to connect brands and consumers. She has led award-winning campaigns for some of the world’s largest brands including Under Armour, Showtime, Samsung and JCPenney, and has led a team whose work has been honored at SXSW, Cannes Lions, the ONE Show, Clios and the Webby’s.

In finding creative ways to solve strategic business problems, Tricia has also built diverse monetization and business development models, and has led product innovation on proprietary products and patents – solutions that have transformed brands as well as media companies and platforms, startups, and talent.

The first business to transform under her vision was Emmis Communications, where she sparked a revolution in the ad sales division by identifying the importance of story and experience. At Emmis she launched new programs and built the company’s first digital division, helping agencies and brands such as PUMA, iTunes, Fox, and EA Sports create multilayered, cross-platform campaigns. In 2009, Russell Simmons tapped Tricia to join his media company, Global Grind, where she was quickly promoted to co-president. There, she relaunched the platform, grew revenue by over 500%, and led over 100 cross-cultural, digital, social, and trans-media campaigns for brands like Toyota, Pepsi, P&G and AT&T. Furthering her gift for boundary-breaking storytelling, Tricia and Russell launched Narrative_ in 2013 with the goal of redefining the status quo in the advertising agency world.

JaQuel Knight

Image Director , Choreographer

JaQuel Knight is one of the most innovative Image Directors and Choreographers in the world…with one plan: to reinvent the entertainment industry. Billboard magazine humbly refers to JaQuel as “the Man Behind the Biggest Dance Moves of the Decade, from ‘Single Ladies’ to ‘Lemon’.” This young phoneme is fresh off the historical Beyoncé performance at “Beychella” at which he served as her Show Director.

Now, at age 28, North Carolina – born and Atlanta – raised JaQuel was named to the Forbes’ Magazines List: 30 Under 30, the first choreographer ever to make this list. JaQuel creates unique and unprecedented dance routines and provides creative direction for the world’s biggest artists: Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams, N*E*R*D, Britney Spears, Liam Payne, and Big Sean to name a few.

At age 18, JaQuel was chosen to create unique, never before seen choreography for an upcoming Beyoncé video. That choreography created a worldwide phenomenon with over 609 million streaming views for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” Since then, JaQuel has garnered international acclaim for his work with Queen B, winning two MTV video music awards for best choreography for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” and “Formation.” Serving as Beyoncé’s Show Director and Head Choreographer, JaQuel’s charismatic steps also prove financially groundbreaking. By working on Beyoncé’s last two world tours — 2016’s Formation Tour and 2013’s Mrs. Carter Tour — Beyoncé sold over 4.5 million tickets worldwide and grossed over $485 million dollars in revenue.

Besides Choreographing this years viral phenomenon, N*E*R*D’s #LemonDanceChallenge and Beyoncé’s comeback performance at Coachella, a career highlight for JaQuel was choreographing Beyoncé’s two Super Bowl performances with hundreds of millions watching all around the world. Other major shows include Grammy awards, MTV video Music Awards, and American Music Awards. JaQuel’s TV credits include The Voice, So You Think You Can Dance, and The X Factor.

JaQuel is very excited about his upcoming work in 2018: Beyoncé’s On The Run Tour II, N*E*R*D’s tour, a special Vegas show, not to mention his own projects through JaQuel Knight Entertainment that will feature directing music videos and short films, as well as producing unscripted television. The sky is the limit for this young pioneer.

Brook brings to the company over 12 years of pioneering digital advertising experience as an award-winning copywriter and creative director, working at Razorfish, Tribal DDB, and Modem Media on brands such as Philips Norelco, Dannon, ING, and New York Lottery. In 2006, Brook co-founded Someecards.com after being unable to find the right greeting card to send his creative partner. What started as a uniquely voiced ecard site grew into one of the most widely shared and trusted humor brands in social media. Brook helped develop the overall voice for the site and managed a large team of writers throughout his 12-year stay. Someecards was an innovator in sponsored social campaigns, which Brook worked on as well. Branded cards often had some of the highest organic reach on the web. Clients included HBO, T.G.I. Brook started his career by writing humor pieces for publications such as The New York Times, Details, and the New York Press. He actually received a degree in Business Administration from Emory University in 1993. Brook could have written a longer bio but felt this was enough for now.

Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton

Founder, Chillhouse

Born and raised in New York City, Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton is an entrepreneur with a creative vision who has made a name for herself in the lifestyle, fashion and hospitality industries with her award-winning website Taste The Style and through her work as partner of The Garret and Dinnertable in New York City.

The idea for her latest endeavor Chillhouse was born when Ramirez and her husband realized the city didn’t offer an aspirational massage place that was affordable. As the daughter of an esthetician, she grew up in the spa world and began questioning what was missing in this space that could benefit city-dwellers – they felt that there should be a more approachable place to unwind. Their desire to create a place with something for everyone led to the creation of this unique wellness café concept offering manicures and massages in the Lower East Side.

As creative director and co-founder of Chillhouse, Ramirez guides operations of the business across the board from working with the design team to execute their creative vision to ideating food and beverage menus with their consultants, hiring staff and overseeing social media, partnerships and events alongside their general manger and partners.
